Green Pear too sweet ok for dog?

My dog likes green pear, but is bit sweet, i think thats why he likes them.

Is it too sweet for them ? i eat 2 per week, and i give half to him. Is it too much ? He doesnt like apple nor other fruits like watermelon. Likes papaya too.

Pears are very low when it comes to glycemic load and just a bit under an apple in the glycemic index. Since a lot of premium foods already have apple in them, there's no way 1/2 a fresh pear is going to be any problem. Also, the fructose contained in fruits is nothing to worry about compared to refined white sugar.
