Well we don't let Baby have butter, not that it's bad for her but one time she climbed up on a chair onto the table or so we figured b/c when my husband came upstairs fromthe basment she would come over to him and she was looking like she was up to something. Well we found an empty wrapper on the floor and awhole stick of butter w/ timy teeth marks. We have no idea if there was any left of the empty wrapper (no one could remember if we finished it or not). She is sucha little stinker! We don't think that there was much if any, atleast from her poop you couldn't tell.

butter is not a problem at all. :)

as animals with a carnivorous background, the digestive system of dogs is adapted to utilizing protein and fat efficiently.

just as with any type of fat or oil - don't feed too much at once tho, especially if a dog is prone to pancreatitis episodes.
