Magnolias

This past spring I took this series of Magnolia blossoms. I was amazed at how rapidly they would change in a day. I will complete this series this fall when the cones get ripe with red berries.

Wow - very cool!

We have a magnolia tree in our front yard. It was here when we moved in, so when it produced a HUGE beautiful white flower I was really surprised! Especially since nothing happened last year!

Those are beautiful. I love the way that the flower is opening up in the 4th picture!
