Winners dog beds are my weakness. I have yet to buy one, as I'm usually taking the streetcar home and don't want to lug a bed home, but every time I see at least one I love....one day...

I wish it were affordable to feed my dog pre-made raw. It's basically just as convenient as kibble! Keep the bag in the fridge, throw a couple patties in the bowl at mealtime, boom. Done. But at $20+ a week? Yeah that's not a habit I can afford. This is probably just a one-bag thing because I decided that the All Magical Raw would be the solution to Juno's tummy troubles. So, pre-made it is, just to see what happens.

The hilarious part is that my boss thinks I brought home a bag of i/d to try.

We had a nice walk with Shai this morning. Mia was actually good... mostly.
Mia was a very good escort and even defended us against the creepy coat-on-a-pole. And Summer is a snuggle bug who gave me my dog-cuddles fix after a week of dogless travels :)

Thanks for meeting up at the crack of dawn! :)

I think maybe that is what happens to people who disobey the sign...DO NOT feed the ducks!! :)

And yeah Mia was totally unimpressed by Mr. Creepy while Summer tried to get it to pet her lol

It makes me acutely uncomfortable when people describe their dog/a picture of their dog/their dogs muscle tone/their dogs confirmation as "sexy"

I have seen more than a few dog people do this. And there has been a SURGE of people on a FB group I'm on (mostly bully breed owners for some reason) who do this.
WHY.

Of all the adjective in the english language.. WHY SEXY?!
IT'S A DOG!!
THE WORDS MEANS SEXUALLY ATTRACTIVE

Zane is major asshole dog most of the time. The other time is split between cute and super protective, lovely dog.

I'm sick, and like most times when I am super sick he jumped up on the bed (that he isn't allowed on, without permission) and snuggled up next to me. Every single time, without fail. And if anyone tries to bug me or come in the room he gets on edge and snarky.

This is great most of the time. But one day I am going to be seriously ill and need paramedics or something and he is going to be THAT dog that will refuse to move.

But in the meantime, fluffy cuddly dog.

I showed my mom Ella's Lead collars. So not only did she just place an order for a new collar for Cajun, she goes "and I think in a couple weeks I'll buy her this one. Oh wait, I like that one too. And that one..."

She's worse than me! I probably should have just let her keep believing pet stores were the only option.

ASTRO GOT HIS CGC! I'm so proud of him! I was worried because there was a reactive dog there, plus the obvious fact that he's incredibly young and easily excitable, but he focused so, so well. I practiced with him early this morning and then just kind of let him be for the rest of the day, to keep me from stressing and nitpicking at him, and he really came through.

Abrams heard a car pull up outside and beep as the doors locked, so he started barking as he thought someone was coming to the door (they went to my neighbors). Which was fine and totally appropriate. But while Abrams was barking - Cynder started barking, too. In the house. o_O This is a dog that NEVER used to make any noise at all, let alone alert bark. I have known her for almost three years and she has NEVER barked in the house. Ever.

And they say old dogs can't learn new tricks. (Or maybe its a bad habit? LOL)

I get up and call Middie out of bed so he can go to the bathroom. He stretches and leaps off the bed, somersaulting into my legs.

"I'm okay, mom! I GOT THIS."

Suure you do, Derpface.

I play a lot of trading games with the dogs so that they are always associating me coming near their goods positively and I could take something from their mouth if I had to. Today I gave Frag a naked bone in the office for his after breakfast snack, and I was munching on a breakfast cookie, so I broke a tiny piece off and took the bone from him and offered him the cookie. He inhaled it, and I gave the bone back to him. He spit it out and looked at me like - "K hooman, that's great, but I get those all tha time. Bring back the goods!" Silly puppy. XD
