Hi, I havent posted in awhile. Our golden has passed and after some thought we decided to rescue. We have decided on a rotti. She is approx 1 year old.
So we dont know much about her. We do have 3 cats that she seems to like but likes to chase. How can I divert her attention and get her to not chase them? Also, I was wondering what I should do about crating. I usually am gone for about an hour or so each morning. I am undecided if I should crate her or not while I am out.
Thanks for any suggestions.

about chasing cats, what kind of "chase" is it? my WGSD likes to chase my mom's cats, and they chase right him right back, then when they're done playing, they all lounge around and bathe each other.

if you don't crate, your house will be trashed in an hour's time.

cute puppy, looks like a Rotti-mix.

I think they're just playing with each other. Try crating her for a few months when you're out, until she gets used to them, and aren't so excited by them.

They might quieten down a little by then.
