I agree. If the pup refuses food for more than a day I would let a vet take a look and make sure everything else looks ok. Very young and very small pups can get pretty hypoglycemic and dehydrated if they can't eat or keep anything down, and it can happen fast.

Ive read that yougurt is good for dogs with diarrea and upset stomach? Anyone else tried that? Also canned pumpkin (not the pie filling) is supposed to help GI problems. With vomiting and diarrea, dehydration would be my first major concern. The pedialyte in the water is a great idea...never thought of that. :)

Yes the pedialyte is for babies. It is like gatoraide but without so much sugar and junk. Get the clear unflavored kind because they wont drink the flavored. It works great. I used it on my dog when she got giardia. I do a 50/50 mixture with water.
