Roxy is Spayed!

Got it done last Friday. She seems to be doing excellent. Her incision site is a little swollen, but that's normal. Her uterus looked like it was well on it's way to pyometra. Thank God that I got it done when I did. She didn't look in heat externally, but definetely was internally. I would have absolutely died if my baby would have had to go through pyometra. I would have felt so guilty. Anyway, the surgery is done and over with and that means no more doggie diapers and no more pain for my sweety! Lesson learned... Always get spayed/neutered ASAP!!

Pyometra is a uterine infection in dogs. Very serious, and if the uterus is not removed quickly, the dog could die.
