How can I get SAP out!????!

Barley rolled in sap from a pine tree, and he's all sticky and icky. Any good tips to get it out? I feel like I should find a Heloise website....

Vegetable oil will take it out. Just work it in gently with your fingers.

Yay! thanks a lot. I was thinking about using peanut butter (like you did with gum in your hair when you were a kid), but vegetable oil is much less likely to get eaten, eh?

Lemon juice works also. I remember when I was a kid, I came running into the house crying because I had sap stuck all over my hands (I hated, and still do hate having sticky hands!!!) and my mom just had me dumk them in lemon juice and Voila!
Also if you get it on yourself in the process, nail polish remover gets rid of it the fastest, but of course that's only for human use.
