Help please!!!! My Chi is getting agressive

My 7 month old Chi female has the last month started to attach her mother.. We kept her from a litter she had.. And it lately isnt pretty.. All her mother has to do is look in her direction and She will pounce.... Ive talked to my vet who recommended a pill.. But pills make me nervous... Ihave to keep the little one away from her mother! She gets along great with my other chi... Has anyone had this problem?? Or any ideas on what I can try to help her get over this??? I dont want to part with any of them.. I love them all veryyy much! THank you!
