My two cats that I actually consider mine are inside. But we have a 17 yr old cat at my dads that has been outside all its life except a week after surgery. She is getting artheritis really bad now though 
We have a lot of cats that just roam around out here that we all feed. the one has really long hair so I cut it if it gets to bad. We call him gary because he meows all the time and he sounds like the snail on spongebob.
There are some cats that just can't live inside. the one at my dads is a good example! They tried,she peed everywhere! They found her on the train tracks under one of the cars with the cat on it. She looks just like it
