"See? Rly, I jus' observe teh ball."

"but me finks teh ball may haf teh speshul powers"

"I fink I can even taste teh speshul powers..."

"I nose I can smell teh speschul powers!"

"R u going 2 make it do sumfin speschul, hooman???!!!"

No, she's not obsessed at all...

And this next shot is by no means the reason we call her a "ball monster".
Nope.

I TRY to tell her that talking to the ball will not make the ball go to her.

And that talking to me is NOT going to get the ball to go to her either.

But she doesn't listen.

It's nice to know that I'm not the ONLY one she talks smack to!

And she continues to sass the ball.

This almost appears to be her gentle, more pleading, look. As if she has finally resorted to begging the ball to come to her.

After the sassing subsided, Miss Ella FINALLY got her ball. You know, the one she was only "observing"...

"Excuse me, sometimes even teh Ball Monsters haf to rest."

She IS so very special!:rofl1:

She cracks me up. Silly dog.
I've resorted to using my 2 1/2 car garage to walking her in the winter.
My husband goes to work, and I pull my car out, shut the doors, and walk Ella around the garage for 20 minutes at a time. Sound crazy?
hahahaha, it IS.
But it beats her seeing another dog, me slipping on ice or snow when she pulls me, and me falling on my face.

But she was quite confused by it this morning.
