I'm on vacation this week, but for various reasons, am staying in town. That means . . . DOG PARK!!! Because it is hot, I took Sarama and Docket to Shirlington, which has lots of shade and a creek. Sarama loves water . . . but I wasn't sure about Docket. I need not have worried . . . he's a water corgi:

Hey, the little guy can't touch bottom!!!

Sarama: "The yapping munchkin? Never seen him before in my life . . . "

Sarama, of course, loves water, so she was having the time of her life. I have no idea who's ball that is.

Sarama investigates the waterfall

And just chills to get out of the heat

And just because, some pics I forgot to post from the 4th of July:

Mike is relaxing with the dogs. At least he was supposed to be relaxing . . . The dogs are relaxed, anyway . . .

Docket looks sharp in Sarama's patriotic bandana (Sarama was wearing her CGC bandana instead)

I am downright envious. I'd love to find someplace like that to take my bunch -- not a dog park, of course, since I don't think my three are good dog park candidates for various reasons, lol.

I was thinking the same thing Renee. I'd love to take Bamm to a place like that where we wont really run into a bunch of other dogs.
