Salukis! And an Afghan or two.

Wassim and I spent the better part of Saturday with two other Salukis who were recently adopted from Qatar.

They are beyond adorable! Still puppies, I think they are 8 and 9 months. Or maybe 9 and 10 months. Both were strays in Qatar so those ages are guesstimated.

Haha. My Afghan does that all the time when she plays. She also sticks her tounge out the side of her mouth when she gets really silly.

Animalcracker, yes he is from the Middle East where ear cropping is common.

The same day I took the pic of my girls with their snaggles showing, their brother was captured with the exact same grin! Every puppy in the family has it. (Although my one girl is like that nearly 24/7)

Also you have an Afghan hound? Pics pretty pleeeeeeeeease!
It's amazing just how goofy they can be isn't it? A complete reversal from that air that they give off while walking down the street.

You are KILLING me with the Saluki pictures. Ugh, he's so handsome and looks like he's got so much personality. Love. So much love.
