Bathing a GSD

once a month is considered enough baths for a GSD
we show so we have to bath more often.
We do not bath In the winter unless they get filthy
we let them go till spring.
we have a heated barn with a tack room so we bath in there if needed.
I find they stay pretty clean in the winter anyway, it's the spring with all the mud when they need bathed the most
