I agree with everything that has been said.

I spend A LOT of time with my dogs. If you don't have any time to spend with it, why get a dog? I exercise my dogs every day. This can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours. They are thoroughly groomed once a month, that takes 1 hour to 2 hours. We spend hundreds to thousands every years on medical care, hundreds on food. Other supplies (collars, etc.) not too much. I am with my dogs most of the time. Many times I'm with them for 14 hours or more at a time.

If you can't take care of one, don't get one.
