Duke and I went to the lake this weekend. Even though the dogs tried their best to look thoroughly unhappy in all the pictures, they had a blast. Even though the water was pretty cold, we went boating (and tubing) anyways. I totally wiped out on the tube and it was quite a shock to go for a dip in water that was around 55 degrees or so. The dogs of course didn't care, they were in the lake multiple times a day. Duke just swam in circles around the boat when we stopped and allowed him out. Unfortunately no pictures of him jumping off docks (which he is getting pretty good at!) or boats, but oh well!
As you can see, Boomer feels this photo was very inconvenient.

This is Gypsy. She's the neighbor's lab. She's pretty overweight and elderly but loved hanging out with the boys. She was zooming around in the water like a puppy, it was adorable.

Gross and dirty, as always.
At the end of the day they always ended up crashed in front of the fire.
