Since I come from Germany, my English may not be the best, but I hope you can understand me.
My problem is: I have a nearly three year old boxer-labrador mix called Glen who is usually a very obedient dog, but when we go for a walk and he sees other dogs, he barks and jumps against the leash, so that it is alsways very difficult for me to hold him. He doesn't show this behaviour when he runs free (then he's usually a very dog-friendly dog). I have already tried different things, for example to ignore his behaviour (that is, I don't look at him and I don't look at the other dog coming towards us). Or I praise him with some food as long he is quiet. But all these things didn't really help. Do you have any good advice for me?
