Our homeschool co ops have started as well as working at the preschool. I was worried I had bitten off more than I can chew but it's really working out perfectly and we are having a blast doing it. Monday was a CRAZY day and it was our "day off" and I was really wondering if I could handle this but yesterday and today have been amazingly awesome and I'm really feeling the domestic goddess in me coming out lol.
also, because of all of these opportunities that have been presented to me and really putting myself out there I have met some of the most inspiring women ever. Today at co op half a dozen of us were sitting around during third period chatting and eating a delicious pecan apple cake one lady had provided and laughing and just enjoying each others company and it made me realize that these women are just like me. They have days where they want to pull their hair out and doubt their abilities and days where they triumph over everything and it's so inspiring to be around these strong women.
We came home from co op, did our reading and writing lesson, I got chili going in the crock pot for dinner (hubby will get home from work and an hour later have to leave for mens bible study so I wanted to try to have dinner ready to go so he could have a good meal before he headed back out), the house is (relatively) clean and I'm definitely feeling empowered right now
I was chatting with my co teacher at todays co op and she laughed about how she's the type to fly by the seat of her pants and if she signed up to supply the moms room snack she would probably end up stopping at the store on the way to co op and buy something and I just laughed and said I was SO glad to hear that because that's almost exactly the way I operate lol and she just laughed and said "I appreciate you SO much" because we are so much alike lol. I just thought YOU appreciate ME? No no... I appreciate all of YOU.
