Announcing the Redyre "Double" litter. Planned for October 2009. Penny will be visiting CH Silverhill's Ice in August.
AKC# WS21719701
DOB 4/16/07
CHIC # PENDING
OFA Hips RO-70059F24M-VPI FAIR
OFA Elbows RO-EL7169M24-VPI NORMAL
OFA Cardiac RO-CA3834/23M/S-VPI
NORMAL, Specialist
CERF RO-6829 NORMAL

Ice finished his AKC CH title at 18 months of age, and just recently turned 2 and got final his health testing done. Ice is an outstanding young dog with a HUGE open side gait, who finished easily and fast. Ice's dam BISS Ch SilverHill's Best By Far :: Breeding Directory, known as "Gilly", was RWB at CRC, WB at MRC, top 10 bitches in 03 and Westminster Best of Opposite in 04 with Best in Specialty Show and Group honors. Gilly is already the dam of TEN Champions.

Ice's sire B'mer is a beautiful BIG heavy boned dog with beautiful angles front and rear who won well in his own right, with Specialty and Group wins.

I expect beautiful headed puppies with strong toplines, big open side gait, and brilliant minds and drive for working.

With the success so far of Penny's first litter, I am really looking forward to another set of her children. I will keep you all updated as things progress.

:D

Grammy, no, I don't mind that he is a fair. I will, however, be watching to see what his littermates get. I am comfortable with what his dam and the stud dog have produced so far, and also with what is behind my girl.

I honestly hate that the OFA grades hips, I wish it were pass/fail just like elbows.

Can't wait to see them!

"B'mer" (Ice's sire) is a Best in Specialty Show winner and half brother to my "Lynyrd" :)

Does that mean I get to be some sort of "Auntie" or something??? LOL

Robin, you are certainly going to be an Auntie! ;) IV, I would say average size is probably 6-8. Penny had 10 last time (1 still born). Her mother had 10 and 13. So, I would expect 8 to 10 puppies from her.

This will be an easy rather stress free breeding as the dog I am using is only a couple hours away, and belongs to a long time dear friend of mine.

:D
