Hello from South Dakota!

I am new to the forum. We have two dogs. Windsor is a coming 2-year-old male golden retriever and the newest addition is Rusty. She is a 9 week old Australian cattle dog. We also have one horse, a palomino gelding named Rodayo, and two red-eared slider turtles. That is all for our menagerie currently.

I am glad to see that there are other heeler enthusiasts here! I am a huge fan of herding breeds. Rusty is my first purebred heeler although I have been around a lot of them.

The retriever is hubby's. They are great dogs, but overall I tend to not care for them as much as my beloved herders. However, hubby hunts so we will likely always have at least one hunting breed around. Next time it will probably be something different though.
