Due to my dogs not wanting to eat there old food anymore, lack of availability living out in the middle of nowhere, and hard times I have had to switch to a lower quality dog food. They have been doing very well on it, but I am worried that there is not enough meat in the dog food. The first ingredient is chicken, but I know once water is removed that is drops a few spaces on the list.

Do you think it would hurt anything to add small amounts of boiled chicken to the dog food daily? both white and dark meat?

thanks for any help. I know the dogs would sure love to have some boiled chicken in their kibble. (like they arent spoiled enough)

I think it's always a good idea to add fresh foods to your dog's kibble. :) Chicken and other meats would work; you could also add yogurt, cottage cheese and/or eggs.
