Welcome!

Here is what I found on line after a quick search:

Height: Males—18 to 19 inches at the shoulder;
Females—17 to 18 inches
Weight: Ranges from 50 to 75 lbs
Height and Weight should be in proportion

This is basic information that you should have researched prior to getting a pup. It sounds as tho you don't know much about the breed. Does this breed fit in with your lifestyle? Are you committed to doing the obedience training that is necessary for any furpal? Any pup is alot of work but they bring so much joy. Do you & your pup a favor & do some research and learn all you can about this wonderful breed. Trust me it will not be time wasted and it will be very helpful.

The size of your adult dog could vary - anywhere from around 30lbs, to well over 60. My Pit X is just under a year old, and recently hit 60lbs. He'll probably gain another 5-10lbs before he's completely filled out. However, we've had full grown Pits at the shelter that were about 30lbs. It depends on the size of the parents, what they're mixed with (if anything), and how much food and exercize they get as a puppy. Take a look at your puppy's paws, they are usually a pretty good indication of how big your dog will grow.

Pit Bulls are a wonderful breed, they're very smart, loyal, and energetic. However, they are prone to a few behavioral issues that you may not be faced with from other breeds. Make sure to keep your new puppy well socialized - with both people, and other dogs, provide consistant training (now is a good time to start), and, if you're not already, you might want to consider crate training.

Pit Bulls are one of my favorite breeds, and also one I work with on a daily basis (we have a litter of the cutest Pit X pups at work right now), so if you have any other questions, just ask.

You should really know these answers before you got your puppy. Your questions are pretty basic and easily answered with a little research on your own.

Hey, Notorious ~

Well, you've certainly started out ambitiously. A Pit can be a tough one to start out with for your first dog; they are generally very clever and intelligent, need a confident master and can be somewhat stubborn when they take the notion. They're also fun-loving, loyal, hyper-affectionate and want to be with you all the time. They need to be kept busy; a bored Pit is a destructive Pit.

A whole bunch of unfair prejudices came with your Pit puppy. It's up to you to keep those preconceived notions from bringing harm to your pup. The best weapon you have against all those prejudices is socializing your puppy, well and early, and making certain it is extremely well mannered.

The best advice I can give you, especially with this being your first dog, is to get copies of the training books and/or videos from the Monks of New Skete: www.dogsbestfriend.com . You can also find them at bookstores and pet supply stores, but you can check them out at the website so you know what you're looking for - or you can just order them directly. They will give you excellent training techniques and also insight into building a better relationship with your dog.

I'd also suggest you start training your pup to wear a halter when out in public. It gives you more control and doesn't have the potential for all the neck injuries that collars can cause if a strong dog or pup lunges ahead suddenly. It's also easy to grab in a hurry if you need to! Trust me, I have MONSTERS! :D
