ok. i'm looking into getting a kelpie in a few years. so i thought i would begin just looking around for breeders now.

i found this one
http://www.suthenskys-kelpies.com/Kelpie_Photos.htm

i've only looked at it quickly. but the litters are always planned in advance. the pups are well socialised. the adult dogs seem happy, healthy, relaxed and well trained. the site encourage owners to train and care for their dogs well.

i havn't looked for evidence of testing yet. but i was wandering for your opinions.

i would drive over to get my pup and bring it back if need be.

Wow, they have several champions! According to the site, their dogs are health tested. It says puppies are given to their homes at 8 weeks old minimum... I'd prefer 10-12 weeks for early socialization, but everything else looks really good. >O.O<

Websites can be decieving visit your breeder in person. Or ask for a local dog rescue person to do a house check.

If the breeder refuses warning sign not that they need to be at your beck and call but they should be proud to show off the dogs and how they are kept unless they have a litter due or are under the age for vaccines or are breeding. I dont want visitors near pups until they are willing to STRIp in the house and get sprayed down ( family holidays).

And if they have a litter all the time well that says it all..

Like the website thou best of luck.
