Update on the Puppy

So, I didn't get the puppy I was looking at. I wanted to, and I even went back with the intention of getting her, but when I went back, some of the other puppies looked sickly. As in hanging over the water bowl glassy eyed sick. I can't take the chance of dealing with parvo, which is huge here, so I had to let her go.

But....

There was a hoarder bust here yesterday, and in order to make room for some of the new dogs, my shelter contact is desperate to foster out a few pups that have been in the shelter and are healthy. So, I should be picking up my new baby in an hour!

8-10 week old mini dachsund or mini dachsund mix, male. I'm stuck between calling him Otter, Newt, or Kudzu.

I have a one year old mini dachshund. He's a thief and a rascal! what a clown. If I didn't love the hell out of him, He'd be in trouble.

All sources Ive read since I've gotten him say the same... stubborn is just a trait you have to expect in all aspects of training.
