Love the eyes on that pretty baby. Gorgeous horse . I don't get the all horses are domesticated thing though. I am lost... Not a lot is new there though. LOL

I believe what she's saying is that most of the horses we think of as wild are actually feral. The mustangs and the island ponies are all feral. There have not been wild horses in North America in...a very long time. I'd have to look it up. Many thousands of years. The feral horses are all descended from domesticated horses that ran loose.

The only wild horses left, I believe, are in Asia, and are very few in number.

true but i still thinkof them as wild because they have not lived in human homes(barns) for years they were last around humans back when the settlers and indians were here.
and its the prezwalski(sp?) horse ;)

yea i did know that and they are the only ones who have NEVER been held by humans yes but i dont think we can still call mustangs feral becuase they were kept back when the settlers were here. They no longer have the mentallaty(sp?) of feral horses. but thats jmo
