Can I just say that sometimes, "heart dog" doesn't even seem sufficient as a way to describe how much I love this dog?

I honestly don't think it's possible that there will ever be a Sheltie is full of adorable as Auggie.

That thought actually sort of scares me, haha. As does the knowledge that I doubt I will ever love a dog the way I love Auggie. I don't doubt I will love my next dog just like I have loved other dogs before, but Auggie is just... special. I'm slightly terrified about the relationship I will (or will not?) have with future dogs...
