I have a TON of leftover 100% whole wheat hamburger buns that are getting stale. I was wondering if any of you have any ideas for a way to use them for the dogs. I thought I could toast them like croutons and add some to their food (neither have problems with wheat) or use them for training sessions. But plain croutons might not have a "wow" factor, so maybe adding some flavoring would be nice. Garlic powder? Peanut butter? Chicken broth (obviously wouldn't stay crispy).
Bread treat ideas anyone?
