What should we name her?

That's why I asked.
I've heard of spaying mares, but while I had horses we never did, and I only knew one person that did and that was due to health reasons.

My first horse was a gelding, my second a mare and she was bred 3 times, all fillies

well you don't HAVE to see her before you name her lol. I had Teddy's name picked out before we got him. he is named after Jose Theodore. He is the goalie for the montreal Canadiens (an nhl team) I think it suits him

FWIW, I am a life long Buffalo Sabres fan. But, being the good hubby I am, I had NO choice in the matter. LOL

Still, I love the name Teddy. It suits him because he gives good hugs, like a TEDDY bear should. LOL
