We got the most snow we've gotten in two years yesterday so I had to go to the dog park and let them run, especially since this was the first REAL snow that Didgie's seen and Traveler hasn't really been in any since he was under a year.

It was crazy there though, because we had gotten so much rain the last few days and it had been in the 60s everything was flooded. But then it dropped back down to single digits so it all froze and then it snowed. It was like a snow covered icerink and every couple steps you would see the imprint of someone who had fallen. I was not excluded from that and neither was Didgie. She would try to zoom across the path and go flying on the ice and scream the whole way.

Snow makes their feet not touch the ground

And makes Traveler super graceful

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/travelingkoolie/8440439942/" title="Traveler by Traveling Koolie, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8357/8440439942_f25d5dd0e4.jpg" width="500" height="339" alt="Traveler"></a>

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/travelingkoolie/8441945868/" title="Traveler by Traveling Koolie, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8371/8441945868_7f06dace02.jpg" width="500" height="336" alt="Traveler"></a>

I've gotta say, it was interesting taking pictures in snow. My camera kept saying "HEY LOOK! It's a snow flake! I'm going to focus on that TINY LITTLE FLAKE instead of the dog running by!"

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/travelingkoolie/8440436712/" title="Traveler by Traveling Koolie, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8223/8440436712_0570bdc5ec.jpg" width="500" height="354" alt="Traveler"></a>

Match made in heaven

He has decided my shoes in snow are actually toys that shoot snow at him so he pounces on them and barks.

I have a serious love for these two. <3 Especially in the snow.... your weather sounds much like it's been here, lol. We had almost 70 degree temps on Tuesday, and by Thursday night we had snow.

OMG I had the same thing happen! We decided this was a good week to go visit my parents in MI and ended up being stuck both on the way there AND on the way home with the blizzard! It is crazy. I took a TON of snow pictures as well (perhaps a new thread tomorrow?) and had the same issues. It was actively snowing these huge flakes so I have some where it's not focused on the right thing and then some where there's a big blurry flake in front of an eye or something. So crazy.

Your dogs are pretty :)

It really really is the weirdest weather ever, can't get used to anything with it like this!
