"Each grain of sand has its own unique shape and color. Some are softly rounded and translucent in shades of palest blue, pink, aqua, green, white; some have jagged edges in yellows and ochers, beiges and taupes. Every now and again there is a sharp black grain, tinier than the others. There are crystal clear shardlets that snatch and reflect the brilliant sunshine.

If you look closely enough and shutter your eyelids to the merest slit you can see the light reflected out from the tiny crystals as from the prism of a droplet of water; all the colors of the spectrum revealed from such a minuscule source." ~excerpted from Scent of the Moon

Definitely great to see you again, Nicco :D
