I noticed that two days ago, my Jack Russel had a bump on the side
of her ribcage, almost near her belly on her left side. She has epilepsy,
and she had a seizure today. (Not like that has anything to do with it right?)
The bump has been there for two days now, and it doesn't seem to be going
down. I tell my parents that it feels sorta hard, like a basketball, and
its about the width of a quarter. They felt it too and told me to watch it
if it doesn't go down in a few days....Help!
PS: My dad made a fence about a week or two ago and my dogs
still haven't figured out that they're not supposed to go through, and they
pass through the wires roughly, maybe my dog bruised or punctured
herself badly? Or maybe a bug did it to her???

I would certainly take her to the vet if it is not gone soon. There is a chance that its just a minor bump and if thats the case it should start getting smaller in the next day or so. If not, it may just be a fatty tumor that the vet can remove with little difficulty. Good luck and let us know how she does.

Does the lump move slightly when you gently push it, or is it fixed in one position?
It could be a cyst! I would get her down the vets pronto though! It's good for peace of mind!!

Thanks for your prayer, I'm thinking two more days of waiting before taking her to the vet. It does move when I touch it though. (Not moving by itself of course, it moves
when I push it) And she doesn't cry when I feel it though...
