I'm the new mom of a (now) 14 wk old Chessie pup. Oh boy, is he fun!
Actually, he's a great pup, probably the smartest baby I've ever had. My first registered, full bred dog. Smart as a whip, stubborn as all get out, and cute as sin. That sums up Gander (and probably every other puppy on the face of the earth).
I'll get pics out as soon as I get off my lazy, ummm, well, get the camera and get some loaded into photobucket.
This will be my first dog that is expected to work for a living. He'll be a hunting dog for daddy and my companion. As smart as he is, he'll need more of a job than just snuggling with me, so we may do some obedience or agility on top of the retrieving. Right now we're still working on not chewing my hands off.
