Mr Darcy!!!

mr darcy is an 8 week old basset hound puppy.
he has been with us for 2 weeks now and is already part of the family!
he has totally taken over the place and is the ruler of the roost, or so he thinks!! i have also discovered the big disadvantage of owning a scent hound, he can find food a mile away, which isnt good when you have a 2 year old girl constantly"losing" her crisps!
ill keep this updated with his progress and he gets his last injection tomorrow so next week he will be out and about(picture oppertunity)

LOL! He sounds adorable. I love the Bassets. Just be happy he has those little stubby Basset legs! You should see what happens at our house. We've got the two Fila-girls - great noses on them, too, somewhere back in the centuries there's supposed to be some Bloodhound . . . and they can reach EVERYTHING on those long, long legs.

Can't wait to see some Mr. Darcy photos. Aren't Bassets are just some of the most adorable pups ever? I hope you'll get lots of photos of Mr. Darcy and Bo and Holly together - I'll bet they're going to get into all sorts of funny mischief together . . .
