Ronin has been ready for this for awhile, and we did a "test run" when we stayed with Sada last weekend for the dog show... but today, Ronin got to do something I NEVER thought he'd be able to do...
... run offleash in an unfenced area!
Now, when I say offleash... what I really mean is "not attached to Mom". After all, he did have a 15' long line attached to a harness and an e-collar on, as well as a collar with a dog bell on it... but he was able to go wherever he wanted, at the speed he wanted, and I was not holding onto him. He did VERY well, nailed every one of his recalls perfectly, and all in all did GREAT. Heck, his recalls were even better than Ilsa's!
Here was our destination:
The brave travelers, awaiting my signal to catapult themselves down the hill and into the wilderness...
On the trail...
HAPPY, free Ronin!
