The little girl -"Bailey" as my sisters call her- has a vet appt. in 30 minutes.

I called 5 or so different rescues in the area (okay, well more like 1-2 hours away) and they are all full. They even have waiting lists. :(

Looks like she'll be here for a little while longer. *sigh*

I haven't been through your other thread all the way - what was the vet result? I could try and get you names for some of the people my friend works with down south who transport up north for adoption. A young lab pup would find a quick home up here, but I know most rescues aren't going to be equipped to pay for surgery and such if that is needed.

Maybe one of the rescues could do a courtesy listing for you on their petfinder page, so that at least there's a possibility she'll find a home in the next couple of weeks. You might even "foster" her for the rescue so that all they have to do is interview the potential adopter and you still might get her adopted pretty quickly.
