My 8 1/2 year old Golden had a seizure last night I brought her to the vet and all tests came back negitive. The seizure lasted about 5 + minutes what should I do?
Have your vet refer you to a specialist. Dogs don't have seizures for no reason, and a good vet will want to get to the bottom of it as much as you do. If your vet won't refer you, and can't find the problem, find another vet!
My cousin has a 8 year old golden retriever and it is epileptic. Sometimes for no reason he will just have a seizure. They were worried at first but the vet said that's all it is. I don't know how they found this out but it only happens about once a month or so.
