2 phase morning poo sessions

1st poo session: Hard as a rock
2nd poo session: Liquidy mushy

What gives?!

The first had to come out before the 2nd.... watch for mucus and/or blood.

no mucus this time around... just very soft.

There was some gooey substance in the stool some days ago, but I thought it was because he ate some grass.

What are you thinking of, bubbatd?

Could be just a tummy upset ....just keep watch.

Bailey quite often does one hard and then the 2nd looks like it is in a bag (if you know what i mean), anyone know why this would be?

I can think of several reasons if it has mucous in it. If it's simply hard, then soft, I'd say it's not enough fiber in the diet. You can try adding a Tbsp. of canned pumpkin (not pie filling) to their meals -- or some pysillium husks. It's amazing how fiber actually works to firm up their stools.
