Boo, and $100 apparently. I will have to ponder if I can't make my own somehow. It doesn't have to be remote, just only accessible by me.

Lucy loses her brain when she knows there is food. My agility trainer told me to just wait her out, and reward her when she turned to me. She never turned to me, instead managing to open the box and eat the treat before I could stop her.

Another vote for the manners minder. I would see if you can find one to borrow first though - Mu gets pretty violent with ours and it hasn't broken or opened up but she's no Lucy. :p

Place the unit where you want to use it, push a button to turn it on, load the treat compartment, close the door, and you're ready for action. The dog will not be able to remove the treat until you activate the remote to open the door to the treat compartment.

Yeah, Lucy had the door ripped open in 3 minutes.

Any better/sturdier options out there?
I will admit that I giggled. . . I think Lucy is part Hyena.

She is so tiny and cute - you don't expect her to come with JAWS OF DEATH.

Oh Lucy... Why does that not surprise me? LOL.

I've heard amazing things about the manners minder. One of my coworkers has one that I'm going to borrow because I'd really like to test it before buying one eventually.

I've heard a few not good things about that machine before. Lots of good things about the Manners Minder but I've never used one personally!
