Xraying hops?

Cohen is my performance dog. She has a vet appointment tomorrow. Should I ask my vet about getting her hips xrayed? To date I have no cause for concern. Think it's worth it to have a professional look at them? If so, what organisation should I have view the xrays? What's the procedure like for this kind of stuff?

When Roxy our pyr went in for an app and had to be put under we had hers xrayed just because, personally i'd rather know now than later

How old is Cohen? If she's over two, then yes, personally, I would have x-rays taken and sent to OFA for grading. I had Auggie's done just for my own knowledge and peace of mind. My vet wants to put a dog under for the x-rays, but not all vets do, and for Payton's, I intend to travel somewhere to see a vet who WON'T put him under to do it.
