I knocked myself out in front of Bailey once. When I came to he had piled all of his toys on my chest.

"OMG I LOVE THIS GAME"

I think the reason I find this so funny is that would be my lab exactly. I'd come to and he'd be looking at me like "Omg Mom this is the best game ever!!! Why do we not play this more often?!?!"

It's not exactly corgi behavior...she really should have eaten all the spilled food in about three seconds.;)

That said, I do agree that it's completely normal dog behavior. She got spooked.
It's a myth that dogs actually care. One of the many lies told to us by Disney.

When I fall, mine will usually use the opportunity to start eating the couch or rummaging in the trash or counter surfing thinking I might not notice and I probably can't stop them. Or if they're on leash when I fall, which is more common, they'll just keep running while dragging me along.
