The parade was shorter this 46 entries down form 61 in 2011,floats are not allowed to have advertising which left our hockey team the Clarington Eagles out but in a parade in Oshawa,Ontario later that day their hockey team the Generals wore uniforms and all the bands and the Air and Sea Cadets wore uniforms as well.People didn't like the Walking Dead Xmas entry, didn't think it fit the theme of the parade too well, the Central Public School Band wasn't in it,there has been a dispute going on between the Ontario government and the teachers and teachers have been withholding doing things after school and this was one of them.Another thing there is a $500 entry fee per float which I think is a bit steep.
