Forgot to post this the other day, but Zander's dental went well. It looks like they deadened the nerve instead of pulling the tooth (it was a big molar, and just a slab fracture). But there isn't any pain or sensitivity in that tooth any more, and there's a small hole there...so I guess they killed the nerve? His teeth are super perdy now, though! And bloodwork came back normal.
Lots of good news there. He's also settling down now and less anxious. He's down from 68lbs to 64lbs, which while it's sad he lost that much in a week, I'm not overly concerned about it. It was weight he was desperately holding onto anyway, and now his weight (aside from lack of muscle) is actually pretty good now.
I've also decided on a few things, and while it isn't exactly a happy or "good" decision in and of itself, I'm still looking forward to the hope and lack of anxiety it brings. It feels RIGHT. And I'm looking forward to getting myself back on track and really catering to what I want for a while. It won't be easy, but in the long run it will be worth it.
