Yesterday I got a notice that an HR specialist at the place I really really want to work viewed my LinkedIn profile.
She just called me.
Interview Thursday at 2pm.

I want this to happen so badly I can't even express it.

Friends are coming to visit the farm for a flyball tournament this weekend! So is Mighty Mouse's and Taboo's old foster people. PLUS! Mighty Mouse gets to run in the tournament! She's so happy doing what she loves, I couldn't say no.

I GOT THE JOB!!!! $4/hr raise from where I am now, with the opportunity for another $1/hr in 6 months pending a positive review.

I start August 18th.

Went and saw Ralphie May live this evening! Had an awesome time. Dinner beforehand with some new friends, then the show, now back home relaxing.

On a completely different note, also found out said friend is gay. Which is absolutely perfect, because now I can continue to hang out with him when DH is deployed and not feel bad about it (and DH won't worry about it).

Hooray for gay men!
