Gah, they're so cute! I can't stop looking. If when Didgie comes home you decide that two Koolies are just too much for you to handle, you're more than welcome to send one to me. ;-)
SaraB, yours looks like Mr T from that picture. Got the little mohawk and sideburn! LOL
They are both so adorable!!! I'm so jealous. I wish there would've been a red in this litter, but that's ok I'l have to wait till the next breeding ^_^

Seriously?! If so, that's exciting. Pretty soon Koolies are going to take over Chaz! By this time next year there could potentially be 5 or 6 Chazhound Koolies.
I'm hoping for a red solid or red merle Preferably male, but female is ok too.
I was going to get one this time, but I really had my heart set on a red and things just kinda feel through with shipping with someone else and all.
I've got the $2,000, hoping to have about $4,000 by the time my pup comes around so I can ship by myself if needed (hoping to split costs with someone else) and still have money for a ton of puppy things.
They are beautiful merles - nice powder blue coloration.! I love their color, just wish they didn't insist on merle to merle! Any idea of what process goes into this? Did you select based on color or do you evaluate their personality at a certain age? I've never purchased a puppy this young, so curious about the process!

Meh, the merle to merle thing doesn't bother me in Koolies anymore than it bothers me in Houla's. It is what it is and what the breed was founded on. I'm more glad that the breeders are starting to accept solids as a Koolie rather than consider them a throwback Kelpie mix.
Sara and I both wanted girls from this breeding and there were only two girls. So pretty much we grabbed them up. With Traveler there were three puppies, one of which was a girl and I wanted a boy and the other was spoken for.
Sooo pretty much color with the knowledge of who the parents are :rofl1:
Whining doesn't actually bother me as much as outright screaming/shrieking dogs. All I can see in that video is how stinking cute he is in his coat and giving kisses. I would not mind a whiny Traveler on my lap <3
