Bye, Deke.

After a week of team training, Deke was placed in his forever working home yesterday. I still retain partial ownership on a co-owning basis, but he doesn't live here anymore. I went to bed last night without him laying on my legs, didn't wake up to his joyful woo-wooing this morning, and the house is eerily quiet.

Congrats on graduating Deke!!! It's a bittersweet thing, but he's going to be awesome.

He's only about three hours away and went to one of my best friends, so he's still close(ish) and I get updates daily. I'll be visiting them again probably early July.

I'm sorry, Julee. I know how much you loved that dog. However, you just helped to make Seth's life SO much easier. It would be so cool to be a part of that.

Still love him! Always have, always will. Seth has been through hell and back with other programs, so I'm happy to have been able to help. Deke was the right dog at the right time for me, he helped me through some rough stuff and taught me quite a bit. Once they start really growing as a team, they're going to be unstoppable.
