Hey all!
I have 3 dogs. 2 Chocolate labs and 1 beagle.
1)Zeus, AKC registered (by default) Bday January 2002. Weight 100 lbs. Loves to swim!
A family member had bought him at 6 weeks of age and paid $500 then this past March decided they just did not really want him. I know everyone says this but- He has got to be the best dog I have ever been around and that is no help to me- he was alread trained when I got him.
2)Mr. Bojangles, Beagle. We found on the side of the road in January 2002, weighed 14 pounds- now 44 pounds! Kinda of an old grumpy Gus- In my area- I tend to think he was a hunting dog that either did not come back on call or did not bring back the prize and was left- some hunters are like that, not all.
3)Hershey Kiss, the newest addition, approx 4-5 mths old. Chocolate Lab (vet says pedigree-no documention)I went out of town on business and someone had dropped her out near my friends farm- and my friend knew I would take her- I am a sucker when it comes to rescues. (especially I lost my only baby girl, Jayde, in June of this year from a uterus rupture during labor) Hershey Kiss has really helped since the lost of my female dog, and it has given some life back to my other dogs who I think (some will disagree) were distraught about the loss of their friend.
Okay so that is my family! I guess that is a lot of detail for a first post.
