After our stellar first trial of the season last month, I suppose it was inevitable. Meg and I did our first USDAA trial in about 8 months this weekend. I did the Performance Versatility Pairs classes with a good friend of mine (one of the qualifiers for Nationals), and it was a pretty big step up from our usual level! There were moments of brilliance here and there that I am really proud of, but pretty much every course had at least one pretty big error as well. We did win our P1 Snooker class with a Q and managed second in the PVP Snooker (Hey, guess what my favorite game is!). Today was much rougher; it may have been the heat, but Meg just didn't feel like playing. Slow, slow, slow, and occasionally just going by obstacles like they didn't exist. That's really not like her, and I'm not really sure what was up.
Anyway, I still think I had the cutest dog there!
