My frist GSD was my moms dream dog so we got a second cause I love them. The doxie is my sisters dream dog.

Duke is barking at the "bad guys" near the fence. Gimli is watching a movie with the family, and Baron is sleeping in his house.

What is your dogs favorite toy?

It's pouring where I am.

Jack is sniffing Sindra, and Sindra is still sleeping.

What's your favourite coat color on your breed of dog?

Gotta be the red & rust. The blacks are nice, but there's just something about those darn redheads. Blues and fawns can be stunning, but I'd rather not deal with a potential coat issue.

'Sides, a nice deep, dark, reddish brown is my favotire color in general!

And as for the corgis... I used to think my favorite color was a nice red-headed tri, but a nice deep red and white with defined markings now takes the top spot!

Question: Which do you prefer in leashes... leather or nylon? Why?

I prefer rope leashes, like the ones I make for sale and I like them because they are round and fit nicely into my hand. Flat leads of any kind rip into my hands or leash burn me. But not the rope ones.

Ella is on the bed with the boyfriend.

What is your FAVORITE dog topic? Nutrition? Training? behavior? What?

I seem to enjoy behavior more than others topics.

Xerxes is playing with his brand new stuffie, and pushing it into my elbow.

A pit bull or possibly a Vizsla. If I could deal with a non-velcro, more independent dog then I would get a pharaoh Hound.

Ella is back under my feet.

Black and Blue (coincidently the colour of bruises...) are my racing colours so I guess I would say that, although I prefer leather over all ;)

Do you feed raw?

I do feed raw as a topper or a big treat (like beef ribs) and I'll also feed raw eggs.

I have no idea because...ooops Xerxes just walked into the room.

Do you prefer dogs with pricked or floppy ears?

No preference really, I guess it depends on the breed....

Ronan is currently in "his" spot in the bathroom where he can clearly see me on the computer but also feels safe in the small dark area. OC on the other hand is sleeping right behind my computer chair so close that if I try to roll back I would roll on to him!

Is your current owned breed your favourite breed?

Absolutely yes! These are the most amazing dogs I've ever known.

Xerxes is now laying on the floor in front of the recliner.

I like both, but I prefer short or rough coated dogs.

Xerxes is now IN the recliner sleeping.

Are your dogs allowed on the furniture?

Yes, at least, the furniture that people are allowed on . . . if I can't plant my butt there, she can't either.

Sarama is curled up under the back steps, sleeping . . . waiting for me to bring her in.

If you could own a wild canine (presuming it was safe, etc.) which one would you pick?

I already do! I am absolutely in love with Coyotes and I think they'd make a very interesting companion-provided all of their needs are met.

Xerk is still laying on the chair, sleeping blissfully.

Do you feed your dog in a raised/elevated feeder?

Orson does eat from an elevated feeder and Phoebe doesn't.

Orson is outside going potty with my oldest son. and Phoebe is snoozing in the family room.

Outside in the kennel

Have you ever gone to the vet for anything other then a yearly routine visit/vaccines or popping by for a weigh-in/socialization time?
