I would like some help on cleaning ears.

Is this suppose to be done regularly and what is best to use?

I used Vet Solutions: http://www.petrx.com/browseproducts/Vet-Solutions-Ear-Cleanser-(16-oz.).html

My dog hated it. He would run every time he saw the bottle and he would get submissive and scared when I used it. It would get crap out of his ears, but it would come right back and I had to clean his ears every 2 days.

Then, I switched to Blue Power Wash:

Follow this exactly. Do NOT change anything at all. Use as recommended. You will notice that over the course of a couple of weeks, the amount of stuff that comes out of the ears will be less and less. This is a great sign!

We have a poodle mix, so we definitely have to keep up with ear care. Right now, we go a week or longer between ear cleanings. His ears don't smell anymore, they don't have any black residue, and he doesn't scratch them. Most importantly, it doesn't burn him and he isn't scared of it at all.

It sounds like I'm selling it, but I'm not. I was skeptical at first (it sounds kind of sketchy) but I'm amazed at its effectiveness.

The ingredients are tough to find. If anyone is really hard stretched, I could make some for a nominal fee (to cover cost of the reagents and shipping) and send it to you.
