How hard would it be to train for a rally title without going to any classes? I can't seem to find any rally classes in my area(not that it really matters right now cause they never have classes on the weekends). He has the basic obedience down, so baring any handler stupidity could it be done in just over a month? Or would it be a waste of money?

If he knows basic obedience you can absolutely do it without going to rally classes! I never went to any rally classes. It DOES help to know what all the signs mean, because some of them aren't totally clear just from looking at the little drawing on the sign exactly what you have to do, but you should be able to read about it on the AKC website or online other places and figure them out. You definitely don't have to take a rally class to be able to do it.
